What does Draw my Home do?
Draw my Home creates nostalgic memories, offering personalised artworks that focus on celebrating the unique charm and character of your home (or a place that makes you feel like home…like the pub). 
 
Is a Draw my Home portrait a good gift?
You bet! A custom house portrait is a timeless keepsake, preserving memories for years and years to come, making it an ideal investment to yourself or the perfect gift for a loved one. Whether that be as a wedding present, a house warming gift for new home buyers, memorialising the family home, anniversaries, and many and any milestone. 
 
What can I have drawn?
Although DMH has a strong focus on drawing your homes (clues in the name), Em can actually can draw anything you like as long as it’s loosely architecturally related. Think wedding venues (great gift!), local cafes/pubs, favourite restaurants, landmarks, holiday destinations, the view from out your window or an interior shot!
 
How do I order?
Jump onto the order custom portrait tab where you will find a detailed form to fill out. Enter all your details and along with a photo at the end. Em will be in touch within 1-3 days to discuss the specifics of your portrait along with an invoice. The invoice will need to be paid prior to the commencement of the portrait, securing your booking.
 
Can I make adjustments / additions / removals?
The illustration is completely hand drawn, not computer generated, therefore each illustration may be customised to your liking, for example adding more leaves to the trees, adding colourful flowers and so on, unwanted objects such as cars, satellite dishes, dust bins etc can also be removed. Please jot all this down in your order form.
 
What if I don’t have the exact angle or photo of the property/place I would like drawn?
Send through whatever photos you can, the address is always helpful so we can jump onto google street view or realestate.com, together we can come up with the perfect view. 
 
Do you draw pets or people?
On special request Em can draw your pet sitting out the front of your house. Each pet is at an additional cost of $65. No people unfortunately. 
 
How long will it take?
Orders officially open on the 1st of every month, and will be completed and sent within that month or soon after. However, generally (shhh) Em always leave the order form up + running. If you have a rush order (need it completed within the week) she might be able to shuffle a few things around to fit you in. Rush orders come at an additional cost of $100.

How is my portrait sent?
After many years spent trialling how best to send these portraits we have found mailing them in a flat, die cast box with express post the safest. Please let Em know in advance if you would also like them to be signed for. Every portrait will arrive with a backing board and cello slip, finished with a twine bow + a DMH swing tag. 

Where do you post?
DMH ships with express post to anywhere in Australia for a flat fee of $16. International shipping is available on request.

Do you offer frames?
Yes! We are very pleased to say we now do. We have teamed up with a small business in NSW that make all our frames to order. All you have to do is choose which options you would like and we will take it from there! Your framed portrait will be delivered safe and sound to your door.
